LANGUAGE AS THE ULTIMATE WEAPON

Why is the Nineteen Eighty-Four novel by George Orwell relevant to a student taking the Programming Language course?

Language is one of the first tools humans being used in order to evolve, since the beginning of human history, humans used language to comunicate their ideas and feelings, this improved the chances of survival, which helped us to become the most advanced specie on Earth.

Languages are very complex, for this example, lets take any vocal language, theses have a very width vocabulary which has letters, words and sentences and all the combinations of these have differents meaning, i think this is why we should read this article as Programmer in order to understand how programming languages, because as any langauge it has symbols and words, and the combinations of these make and resolve different problems.

Languages allows us to understand the world better, the human brain is capacable of relating things with this. This complexity also create a problem which is the posibility of misunderstand other ideas that why is important to define standards as we should do in our programs, this is because aver person could understand and solve the problem in a differente way.

As it is expressed in the novel, langauge is very important for society, the goverment had control over the country comunications, so it was capable of controling life itselft, changing past, present and even future. So this gave them absolute control. Of course this is only a fuction nove, but this exxageration allow us to understand the importance of language.
